I made the post Drake Live over a week ago, immediately after he performed here in Montreal. I shared all of the photos from the event, but I totally forgot about a video that I had on my Blackberry. This is a short clip from when he first came on stage at Metropolis. Watch as he addresses the (totally stoked) crowd. It was very obvious that Drizzy has love for this city.

My homie Mugz is overseas right now on vacation in Beirut, Lebanon. He sent me this quick video clip to share with the fans. The dude is on a jet ski in the Mediterranean Sea being driving around by a sexy lady friend – needless to say, life is good!

I want to rant for a minute. People in Montreal seem to be trying to make being ugly the new sexy. I will not stand for this, and neither should you. I constantly overhear people bragging about how they “scored big” at the thrift store, and how cheap they bought an item for. Since when is being cheap something to brag about? Since when is looking like a homeless person fashionable? Seriously, if you have to Febreze the smell of feces out of a piece of clothing before you can wear it, you should not be wearing it. At what point do you clue in? This whole movement is garbage.

I attended the Drake concert last night at Metropolis in Montreal. The sold out crowd loved every minute of it. The opening act P. Reign shut it down, and Drake killed it. The live band was a really nice touch, and the live performance was on point. If you weren’t there – you missed out. I got to go backstage after the show to meet the entire OVO crew. Check my photos. Yesterday afternoon I had the chance to go whitewater rafting on the Lachine Rapids just outside of Montreal. I have done this before in the Canadian Rockies, so I showed up yesterday expecting the river to be quite calm in comparison. I was wrong. Some of the rapids we encountered were about 15 feet high, and by the end we were all TOTALLY soaking wet. The scale by which rafting rapids are measured caps out at a maximum of F6, which is totally unnavigable – the ones we did were F4 and F3. It was fucking fun. We obviously couldn’t get any photos in the intense parts of the river, but you can spot me in the light blue New Regime t-shirt below.

I am so fucking stoked for this weekend! Not only will I be seeing Drake live for the first time, but I will also be seeing him live for the second time. If you’ve been reading this blog for long enough, you have probably realized that Drake is my favorite rapper – I post about him constantly. Anyways… I have had tickets to his Sunday, July 18 show at Metropolis in Montreal for quite some time now. On top of that, my (fucking awesome) girlfriend surprised me with tickets to Drake’s official after party in Ottawa this Friday, July 16 with guests P. Reign, Belly, and Future The Prince . Both of these venues are small, so it will be a much better experience than a large stadium event. Check the flyers for details, and maybe I will see some of you out there!

Plattsburgh is a small town in the state of New York, about a thirty minute drive south of the USA/Canada border. I took a trip down there yesterday to check out the beach on Lake Champlain. It was a nice little get away from Montreal and the weather was fucking great. Also, I discovered a canned beverage called Twisted Tea – which is basically iced tea with alcohol. They need to start selling that shit up here! God bless America and their cheap alcohol HAHA. Check the photos.
