While I work all day at the office, I usually stream mixtapes on DatPiff.com – which is THE spot for hip hop music, by the way. You can download or stream thousands of mixtapes all free…. which is how mixtapes are supposed to be, so if you’re paying for them then you’re a sucker. Anyways I recently came across this one titled “Smokee Robinson” from rapper Curren$y. Click HERE to check it out. I highly recommend taking a listen, my favorite track is Fat Raps. So the focus of this mix was just to get all the upcoming Canadian producers on one big mix. Me and my brother Liam scoured our great frozen land far and wide, under rock and tree, from the deepest depths of Lake Huron to the majestic peaks of the rocky mountains for the sickest, raddest, most cold certified producers in the great white north for one epic slapshot of a mix. After a long and arduous journey we finally assembled these 17 crazy Canuck acts who all graciously offered us both released and unreleased music just in time to pump everyone up with some National spirit for the Olympic games…. and throw the gauntlet down to all you other countries out there who think you can beat this EHHHHH!
