The first single from Drakes forthcoming debut album “Thank Me Later” is being released today, March 4th, 2010. I got sent a copy of the track earlier in the day by a friend before most websites had it yet so I uploaded it to YouTube before there were actually any search results. I made the video scrolling the lyrics – the lyrics weren’t online yet either so I typed them out. Look for that coming in this weeks “Toe Jam” post coming next! Congratulations Drake on getting to this point!
Drake speaks about his forthcoming debut album Thank Me Later – says that he wants to study Andre 300 & Nas.
I cannot wait for this album, y’all know I am a huge fan of Drake. Make sure to cop this album when it drops.
Sprite has hired Drake for their latest commercials that are airing in movie theaters across North America. The high quality commercial has yet to leak but people have been recording the previews from their seats – this is the best version I could find.
I think it’s an awesome commercial. Click HERE to see a behind the scenes/making of video.
Most of you probably know that the Super Bowl game is being played this Sunday in Miami, Florida. If you have been following this blog long enough, you know that I frequently visit the 305 as I have a lot of friends down there. I was actually just skydiving down there in November. Well… I am hopping a flight down there again tomorrow to take in all of the Super Bowl weekend parties. I am seeing Snoop Dog tomorrow night when I get off the jet, then Young Money the next night -that’s Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Tyga ect – followed by the big game on Sunday before flying home early Monday in time to get into the office for work. I will have my flip camera rolling the entire time so expect some crazy updates on this blog soon. Bags are packed with the essentials…
Visit the ATF website to see the performance last night from Drake, Eminem and Lil Wayne. Other than that it was a complete bore.
A-Trak released a remix earlier this week of fellow Canadian Drake’s track “Money To Blow”. This is a banger, check it out below! Happy Friday.
Loonies To Blow.
Drake is on the cover of the upcoming issue of Complex Magazine. First of all check out the cover shot.
Now click HERE to read the 6 page interview, which is very in-depth. It is my personal favourite Drake interview yet.
@franklinleon volunteered to be my designated driver the other night so I took the opportunity to enjoy the backseat of my own car. I also took the opportunity to make a drunk video. Check it out.
What’s with the ladies being so shy on my camera… ashamed to be seen with me? HAHAHA!
