I want to rant for a minute. People in Montreal seem to be trying to make being ugly the new sexy. I will not stand for this, and neither should you. I constantly overhear people bragging about how they “scored big” at the thrift store, and how cheap they bought an item for. Since when is being cheap something to brag about? Since when is looking like a homeless person fashionable? Seriously, if you have to Febreze the smell of feces out of a piece of clothing before you can wear it, you should not be wearing it. At what point do you clue in? This whole movement is garbage.

Oh, and by the way, Pabst Blue Ribbon is shitty beer.
Last weekend two of my closest friends, that I attended high school with in Costa Rica, were both here in Montreal visiting from their Universities in Miami and Boston respectively. It’s been a while since we all got together so it was good to drinks beers and watch the UFC with them, we also played some poker at the Casino de Montreal. Word.
Happy Canada Day to all of my Canadian viewers! I developed a new found sense of pride in my country while I was at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. I may not spend 100% of my time up here, but I always represent the red and white properly. I’m about to meet up with some friends to take in some of Canada’s finest offerings – beer and marijuana. I made THIS post two months ago claiming that white wine was the new beer. As much as I do still prefer white wine, I want to now suggest that you all also drink red wine! When I first started this blog, I was probably drinking more beer than I was drinking water. Times have changed though… we are moving forward with some classy shit! I just dropped my twin sister off at the airport, I had a great time hanging out with her for a week and we got to do a lot of fun shit together! It was good seeing you again Chantel! Safe travels.
Yes… I know St. Paddy’s day is actually this Wednesday. However, the festivities are taking place today! I just watched the parade pass by on St. Catherines out of my window, and saw two fighter jets do a flyby quite low. I am here drinking Guinness for breakfast, and you better believe I have a green shirt on! That’s a New Regime green t-shirt to be exact. Anyways here are some sexy Guinness girls to start your celebrations off right – also a couple photos from when I toured the Guinness brewery in Dublin, Ireland a few years back.
So ever since I moved here I have been frequenting this one Sports Bar. They serve decent food and have really cheap beer… actually cheap everything. I met up there the other night with some friends from Indecent Xposure and we took a photo. Sophie actually brought her laptop to the bar and we got on ChatRoulette live while drinking haha.

One of the awesome things about this place is that they have taps directly in a few of the tables there. I guess it sort of works similar to a gas station, the bar has some sort of meter keeping track and they charge you a few cents per ounce.
Beer.
In the summer it had a patio on the sidewalk where we would order 4 litre pitchers for like $15…. yeah guys like cheap beer what can I say. I miss the summer.
I had a brief layover in Frankfurt, Germany in between Bangkok and Paris so I took the opportunity to enjoy some amazing Paulaner beer. A half litre pint before sun up is totally acceptable, right? HAHA. Anyways, I also took a short video from the plane of an amazing sunrise over the clouds… you can’t really see me while I talk but that isn’t what matters in this clip.
As I said in the previous post, it is currently New Years Eve here in Thailand. I wanted to upload one more video to my blog before I head to the festivities so y’all can see how I rang in the New Year; with a drunk tattoo.
Do not be mistaken, a drunk tattoo doesn’t mean a stupid tattoo. This is actually one of my favourite pieces now, the quality is amazing with very bright colours and I paid 1/4 of what it would have cost me in Canada! I am catching a flight out of here tomorrow night (so I can actually enjoy myself tonight without having to be at the airport early) heading to Paris for a couple days before returning home to Montreal. I will post some photos and video from France so check back soon!
