My homie Mugz recently did a freestyle over the Super High beat, and then he shot a dope video to accompany it. I have been saying it for a long time now, and I will say it again – this dude is the best rapper in Montreal. Check the visuals.
Until last weekend I had only ever been to Globe late at night, when it turns into a club. However, on Friday I had the opportunity to enjoy a meal there. The prices were high, and the portions were small, but the food was delicious. The service was mediocre, but the location really made up for it. Saint-Laurent was closed to traffic for a street sale, so we got a table out on the patio and watched the crowds (that were in the city for NASCAR) pass by while we ate and drank. I had a great time. If you like seafood, I would suggest getting one of their platters.

This video is obviously a parody, but on a really serious note – I have been thinking for a long time that somebody needs to invent something like this. I’m sure we can all agree that it would save a lot of people from “morning after” embarrassment.
The New York Yankees have teamed up with Jay-Z to create a limited edition series of Yankee apparel that will be sold exclusively at Yankee Stadium in New York until September 14th. The final product was just unveiled today. Check the photos.

I am not at all a baseball fan, but I do dislike the Yankees… so even with Hov’s approval – you will not find me wearing this stuff.
Yesterday was my girl’s birthday, so we hit up Old Montreal for a nice evening out. We started drinking pitchers of Sangria on a random patio, and then made our way to Barroco – where I had made reservations for us a few weeks prior. This place has a similar menu to Garde Manger (read my review) meaning the food was very tasty… and the service was A LOT better. If you want to drop a nice chunk of change on a delicious meal, this is the place to go! Check my photos.

On a side note: I have recently noticed that I have quite a few restaurant reviews on my blog, so I have created a new category just for them.
I have been obsessed with Thai food since I returned from my trip to Thailand. For that reason I have been on the hunt for the best restaurant (here in Montreal) serving my favorite Thai dishes. I am pleased to announce that last night I finally found it. The place is called Thai Grill and it is located on St. Laurent in Mile End, the atmosphere is amazing and the food was delicious – I suggest you eat a meal there ASAP.

That’s their amazing bartender on the left, her name is Julie Castro.
Common, Big Sean, Nipsey Hussle, Vado, and a couple others have signed on with Diesel to promote their new scent Only The Brave. This week they will begin releasing a video series that follows the lives of these artists, and the campaign will come together with a VIP concert in NYC on October 12th, that will air on MTV2. This definitely sounds better than their “Be Stupid” campaign, which I thought was horrible. What’s your opinion?

Artist Jeff Koons was the man behind the BMW Art Car – so you may have heard of him recently. This time he has just applied a very similar design to an Aston Martin DBS. Personally, I would prefer the car had remained all black. Check the photo.

Even though the majority of my viewers are from the USA, and even though I have spent the majority of my life living outside of Canada… I am indeed Canadian, and currently reside here. Regardless, I found this new video from comedian Kassem G to be extremely hilarious. Check out what some beach bums in California had to say about the country of Canada.
